 Kornati

Food and other necessities can be purchased on the Island of Murter before the arrival to the Islands of Kornati, or other surrounding areas. During the summer season, occasionally trade boats are circling park area - there you can buy food and emergency supplies. On the island of Vela Panitula (within the ACI "Piskera") is a small shop with an assortment of food and other products. Out of season, food and other supplies can not be purchased at the park.

Sandy and rocky beaches and crystal clear water will give you an unforgettable atmosphere.

On Kornati you can see traces of Neolithic, traces of the colonization of the Illyrians and traces of prehistoric time. The fort of Tureta on the island of Kornat, the Early Christian basilica, the church of Our Lady of Tarca, the remains of the warehouse for salt, Illyrian ruins, the Venetian castle, Piskera, Church at Piskera are something that you shouldn't miss.
A special tourist attraction of the port, housing, dry stone walls, olive trees, etc. .. You'll find a lot of attractions.
Within the boundaries of Kornati National Park there is a total of 25 restaurants and taverns.
Most of the restaurant (tavern) in the area of the park is open only during summer season.
April - Kornati cup - a traditional sailing regatta through the Kornati islands, which marks the beginning of tourist season.
The first Sunday in July - Our Lady of Tarac - celebration on the feast of Our Lady of Tarca - Pilgrimage by ships to Kornati (Tarac bay on the island).
Visit some of the lookoutss; Metlina, Otocevac, Opat, Vrujsko, Litnji Top, Plain Zakan ... and experience something special. On the island of Kornat, visit “Magazinova skrila”, pay attention to the Kornati "Crowns" or better yet dive into the underwater world of the Kornati "Crowns".
Diving is allowed under certain conditions you can find at the Public Institution "The National Park Kornati”, cruising, sports fishing, swimming, hiking, watching wild flora and fauna.
